MCP server for Lightspeed Retail

Your AI assistant, connected to your shop.

Bridge is a hosted MCP server for Lightspeed Retail. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP-capable assistant to your live POS data and ask plain-English questions about your customers, inventory, workorders, and sales.

Ask it questions, or let it do the work — you decide which. Per-tenant database isolation. Built by a 15-year Lightspeed retailer, not bolted onto a generic BI stack.

  • Hosted on AWS, in the United States
  • You choose what it can touch
  • Per-tenant database

What you can ask

Questions you would normally pull a report to answer.

With Bridge, your AI assistant runs the query, reads the result, and answers in plain English — usually in a second or two.

Which items have I sold in the last seven days that don’t have reorder points set — and aren’t special orders?

resolves toquery_item_sales · query_inventory

Which items haven’t sold in twelve months but still have reorder points active?

resolves toquery_inventory_aging

A customer needs a special-order part — do I already have one at another shop I could transfer instead?

resolves toquery_inventory_by_shop · query_open_special_orders

Which top customers haven’t come in lately and could use a small reach-out?

resolves toquery_top_customers · query_due_for_visit

Which items in inventory are above the max I set?

resolves toquery_inventory

Build me a daily sales + service report and email it to me every morning.

How it works

Five minutes of your time. We do the rest.

  1. 01

Sign up, pick a tier, pay

Fill out the registration form, pick your tier, and pay. About two minutes.

  2. 02

    Authorize Lightspeed

Sign in as the owner of your Lightspeed Retail account and approve Bridge. On Standard and Premium, that authorization is read-only — Bridge doesn't request the permissions that would let it write. Another two or three minutes.

  3. 03

    We sync, then notify you

Bridge pulls your full Lightspeed history into a private database for your tenant. For a small shop this finishes quickly; for a large multi-location shop with years of history it can take eight hours or more. We email you when it’s ready, and you paste one URL into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

Bring your own assistant. Bridge is not another AI tool with another login. It plugs into the one you already pay for.

Built for retail, not generic BI

Tools shaped by how a specialty shop actually runs.

Bridge ships 99 tools that read your shop — named after the questions retailers actually ask, not generic list-this / get-that. On Pro, 30 more become available that act on your data. A small sample:

query_workorders

Open service jobs by shop, status, customer, or date.

query_inventory_aging

Stock sitting too long, by category and shop.

query_attach_rate

Service add-on rate per technician and per category.

query_top_customers

Highest-LTV customers in any window.

query_due_for_visit

Customers overdue for service based on last visit.

query_sales_yoy_comparison

Period-over-period sales, any grouping.

query_market_basket

Items that sell together, ranked by lift.

query_employee_sales_performance

Per-employee revenue, attach, and ticket size.

99 read tools across customers, inventory, sales, workorders, employees, POs and shop comparisons, and 30 write tools on Pro. Bridge syncs with Lightspeed continuously. On Standard and Premium your assistant has no way to change anything: Bridge registers no write tools for those tiers, so for your seat they don’t exist. On Pro, you grant write access one seat at a time.

Two ways to work

Some owners want an analyst. Some want a hand.

On Standard and Premium, your assistant reads. It answers the question — what sold, what’s aging, who hasn’t been in — and hands it back to you. You decide, you act. That isn’t a starter mode. For plenty of owners it’s exactly the arrangement they want.

On Pro, your assistant can also do the work: update prices and costs, set reorder points, manage tags, build purchase orders, move work orders along. You grant that person by person, across sixteen separate permissions — so your service writer can manage work orders and nothing else, and your buyer can build POs but never touch a price.

And every change it makes leaves a dated note on the record in your own Lightspeed account, in the Internal Note field your staff already read. Nobody has to trust a log we keep to see what happened.

Same data, same shop, same product. The difference is how much of the work you want to keep.

Pricing

Flat monthly. Pick how often Bridge syncs with Lightspeed.

One price per shop location per month. Additional shops on the same Lightspeed account are ~50% off. Unlimited AI use within each seat. No per-call charges, no AI credits, no surprise overages. Pro adds write access and is in beta — it opens with an invite code.

Why Rizolvr

Built by a 15-year Lightspeed retailer.

I ran my own bike shop on Lightspeed Retail for fifteen years before starting Rizolvr. I’ve pushed a manufacturer price update through the system and then walked the floor re-stickering every affected item. I’ve rebuilt seasonal min/maxes when a vendor stocked out mid-season. I’ve paid for dozens of plug-ins along the way that promised to fix one piece or another — none really did, and every one had hard limits on the reporting or the questions you could ask.

Bridge isn’t a BI platform that added MCP. It’s a tool surface designed around the questions specialty retailers actually ask — service attach rate, customers due for a visit, what’s aging on the floor, which mechanic moves the ticket. The kind of thing a generalist connector can’t ship without hiring someone who lived it.

That afternoon of re-stickering is the reason Pro exists. The assistant that can tell you which items a vendor just repriced should be able to reprice them — and then tell you exactly which ones it touched, in a note on the record, so anyone on your floor can check its work.
